Preface
This book (story, journey, cycle, learning) is many things. It is a co-created, emergent expression of both a group of individuals, and the call of a new Being. It is the story of Samara's birthing, the breadcrumbs and the initial coding of how She works and where She is moving to. Most importantly it is a window into why She is here and what She is here to do.
As with all wholesome efforts this form is the result of a mixture of people, principles, connections and something un-nameable but essential.
Stand with us at the beginning of a Journey, looking out towards a massive, wide open field (of possibility). This very beginning, right now, is one of thanks. Stand with us side-by-side, looking to the Horizon of the unbounded regenerative force. The mountain range just below is the movement of movements that is the Regenerative Renaissance.
These mountains move very quickly for mountains; this is the nature of the ground we walk upon, and we are grateful for its dynamism. Seeds, DHO's and people are all growing on these slopes, and the life from that soil moves through each of us, resonating with the desire to see a more equitable, balanced, evolved and thriving world. Thanks go to life for this movement!
The flow of this life has moved through this part of an ongoing symphony in a way we are deeply grateful for. The virtuoso violin notes of many mentors have weaved threads that tie the melody together: Joachim, Rieki, Paulo and Keala. May you continue to refine and spread your wisdom and experience. Each and every player deserves the joy they feel in the reverberation of the audience, recognising which parts of the song are worth rehearsing, repeating and evolving further.
This band is made up of an eclectic band of travelling players that would enliven any song: Thankyou Irina, Roz and Drigo: You called the band together and started rehearsals, as well as putting the sign above the door. Thankyou to Tyler and Justin who wandered in and brought cases full of new instruments, including the ephemeral harp that threads through everything and the grounded, structured beat of the Taiko that keeps us on track, no matter how the melody shifts.

....The staccato guitar of unexpected ideas have peppered the ether with a change in tempo.
No musician would learn to play well without the schools and colleges they learn in, or the deft hands of the instrument makers, who craft these tools in solitude and in tandem: we thank the groundwork and dedication of the builders in Hypha and the school of seeds for fostering our sessions and providing us a Home. We recognize and honour your careful hands in all we have touched and lovingly made music with. We also thank our allies and predecessors on the same campus in the Ambassadors Academy in the MBC wing. Many in Samara have enjoyed walking the halls, playfully benefitting from classes and receiving the insights of the Angels who guide this evolving container of learning. We learn from seeing and being part of the larger endeavour that MBC has been focusing on for some time.
We are grateful to Samara Herself. Her Yin soul is what we sense into and gain nourishment and support from. Her Yang body, although just a baby, is growing quickly and we dedicate our efforts each day to the particular regenerative force that evolves and animates it. As individuals with identities, perceived needs, names and forms we are grateful for what meets the needs of this trans-personal body and being, and to the family it lives within.
The shifting of form is always a challenge and a learning for the indivi-dual, so ultimately we thank the lessons which help us accept changes when they come. We thank the emerging principles which help us mature enough to relinquish a form when Samara needs us to, and to uphold a structure or boundary when Samara needs us to. Most of all we are grateful for the integrity of the people here, which is the foundation that makes all of this work.
We hope that like all good stories, this one captures you enough that the words fall away, the characters disappear and you find it speaking to your own your own mentor, your own music, your own tribe your own cave. Pick up the threads that have meaning to you when you look out towards the phenomena of organizations, DHO's, Movements and the Regenerative Renaissance.
May this story live on in you and birth more of the quiet dreams of the soil of the Regenerative Renaissance into something Real. Let it speak to You, and specifically the Human in You that is the same in us both, and which rises to the call of "Onward Team Human"!*

In fact, the very idea for this book started with a gentle stroll through a forest, a virtual forest that is..

As stewards of this forest we are seeking, (just like you are seeking in your stewardship in many areas) to nurture and learn in a way which supports a diverse and dynamic environment. May this environment serve multiple needs on multiple levels, but particularly the regenerative needs for growth and contribution, so that we can manifest the purpose that holds us together.
Like any good book (story, journey, cycle, creation), this is one that speaks of the heroes journey in each of us. It's about a beginning which calls us to act, the finding of a tribe, the meeting with a mentor, the inspiration to climb and the willingness to commit to going through the cave together to emerge into something new.
This journey is very new for Samara (ns), but already this universal pattern is playing out and the journey has fundamentally changed each individual who has stepped into it. The something new is emerging and we want you to walk through and out of the cave beside us into another dawn, familiar, but alive and new.
Inevitably diversity implies a greater variety of different points of view and this is a fundamental dynamic in any group, let alone those that seek to decentralise control, decisions and power and distribute authority. No story would be complete without seeing all the stages in a cycle and no D-HERO can realise their gifts and identity without every feature of a complete journey.
