Irina: The daily call with Rieki as a DHO Catalyst with a lot of experience from Hypha has provided a boost of energy and a lot  of great advice. Also a lot of exploration for potential DHO foundations were discussed. Worth mentioning, there was a lot of work there. Good foundations for Organisation in a box.

Some other specific things for Samara: We didn't know each other before starting this adventure, a big challenge to start such a journey with strangers from around the world, We didn't have a "box" or a "book" for how to build a DHO, nor experience in another DHO most of us, we had to do the unboxing together, exploring alternatives for arranging different pieces of the box, creating foundations and in the same time start working on the branches, not quite a recipe you would recommend to a start-up :) and yet here we are Bongi: So we have learned... this and this and this now? - Irina

Patterns: learning process how to work async with the right tools took a while, desire to have a lot of connection through meetings (work happened mostly in meetings at first) - Irina

Proposal to Add a section of What Worked and What we would do differently, not necessarily in this page - Irina... Bongi: I would do in the same page instead of one long 'what worked' and then separately 'what we would do differently', let's link each to each other. E.g. What worked: Primary pods for completing quest. Do differently: e.g. start on work outputs with easy to schedule groups and do more async work instead of trying to schedule multiple groups (often with the same members) to cover each KR. 

Bongi: 


Worked: Open meetings and deep exploration for start of group human connection. 1:1 that followed to enhance this.

Do Differently: Have more 1:1's at the beginning when the open time and initial connections are forming. Have that lead into the purposing exercises facilitated by an external and aligned party.

Worked: Agreeing on a minimal governance proposal and discussing how we make decisions.

Do Differently: Start and establish this very early on, perhaps right at the beginning, together with sociocratic Sociocratic principles and distributed authority training and distinctions, so that the reasons for governance are clear and understood to be beneficial to the group. 

Worked: Quest proposal for Hypha. 

Do Differently: Start it much sooner with clarity and definition of purpose earlier. 

Worked: Working in focus groups of 3 and then shifting to 4 for starting work. Growing/ taking to larger group as topic/proposal/work material evolved. 

Do Differently: Schedule rare meetings for everyone in org to attend. Breakout rooms to check in personally with max 3 people and
