The Org-in-a-Box

Imagine you receive a box that contains everything you need to set up your organization. Imagine you open this box and inside you see a "Starter Kit" with a "Quick Guide" that gives you and your team a quick way to launch your own organization without the inertia and pain of following the old paradigm of slowly setting up an HR function to hire and to pay the "right" people, getting managers to control those people, and building an org chart to put these people into tiny squares. Opening the Organization-in-a-Box follows an entirely different kind of paradigm - one in which you can bring your genesis team together, agree on the initial allocation of tokens, download  and configure your organization's DNA and then launch it within a much shorter timeframe and with  much less startup costs.

The foundation to build this new kind of organization is trust and the key to unlock it is self-organization. The Organization-in-a-Box contains everything you need to establish these two pillars from which everything else will evolve more naturally and joyfully (like a game).

The Marketplace-in-a-Box

People will only adopt a new currency, if they can use it to buy goods and services. Thus, establishing market platforms where Seeds are accepted as a preferred means of payment for regenerative products and services is key. At the same time, it increases visibility and accessibility to these regenerative products and services and increases collaboration and knowledge sharing among the stakeholders.

The objective in this approach is described most simply as creating a city guide and local platform for the regenerative renaissance.

  1. We can start by identifying several organizations we would want to buy goods and services from, and organizations you’d like to support. (--> Tool: Stakeholder Mapping)
    It is v
ery important to find highly attractive, highly regenerative products and services, and the most inspiring local organizations. Some examples:
    1. Products like local organic food, personal care, sustainably crafted furniture, natural medicines, seeds, gardening tools, eco clothing, solar panels,
    2. Services a local directory of experts that can help you evolve in your growth / sustainability, like solar energy, permaculture landscaping, human design readings, personal development coaches, marketing services, management consulting, regenerative finance services, ...
    3. Academies and educational offerings: locally available classes in permaculture, sustainability, finding your purpose, social entrepreneurship, natural healing, leadership. Listing a local school that has sustainability engrained into the curriculum, or a local vocational training center that focuses on green jobs. Local universities and schools that have courses or a focus on sustainability.
    4. Local Regenaissance Hubs: Local community centers where you can meet likeminded folks who are working on relevant projects. A place for events, for collaboration, and ideally a place that represents the regenaissance: i.e. sustainable building, eco friendly practices, serving local organic food, and ideally running 100% on solar and collecting rainwater, and managing their wastes responsibly. This could be in the form of a local restaurant, community center, or co-working space (think www.impacthub.net).
    5. Nearby Eco Villages or Eco Resorts: There's nothing more powerful than seeing EXAMPLES of the regenerative renaissance / sustainability / eco living. Beyond theory, these examples can be super inspiring, and a great pleasure to visit / holiday at / move to. These can also be hubs to host events, receive Seeds, use Seeds, and labs to experiment with solutions to local and global challenges.
    6. Environmental & Social Regeneration - Carbon offsetting, planting trees, protecting natural reserves, tackling local poverty and homelessness, campaigning for human rights, and generally speaking teaming up with others to help heal & regenerate humanity and the environment. Every activated 'chapter' / bioregion should / could also help direct local residents towards amazing organizations doing inspiring and meaningful work. Ideally ones that will not only accept Seeds / BTC / ETH / Fiat, but also ones that will accept volunteers and visitors.
  2. Engage 3-4 organizations to start with that are enthusiastic about the idea, and ideally at least 1 or 2 that are well known / recognized leaders in the community
  3. These 'strategic partners' / 'alliances' mean that when people 'visit' online their local bioregion, they can
    1. shop for goods and services that will lead to almost immediate increase in quality of life
    2. sign up for a class and expand their knowledge / awareness / practical skills
    3. find local 'hubs' in the form of community centers or places to visit nearby where they can meet like minded folks, attend events, go for vacation, or enjoy a meal with family in a place that resonates with their values and principles.
    4. Make an impact via donations and volunteering
